About Hanan

 

Hanan Ishaq is a visual artist and writer currently based in Yemen. 

​

While working with a number of mediums, her art includes ink on paper, photography, poetry and spoken word. 

 

Hanan finds inspiration in the human condition and in the psychological dynamics of the collective reality. Through the use of abstract art and symbolism, she embarks on a personal journey that extends outwards to include social and ideological philosophy.
